Development

The Sydney East Hockey Association champions development. Development activities include planning and implementation of all aspects of development as it relates to players, officials, clubs and the game of hockey alike in our region.

Our programs include:

Hockey NSW Futures Academy delivered by SEHA launched over summer in 2023/24 with a pilot program for identified athletes u18, u16 an u14.

Hockey NSW Centre of Developnment Program for kids between 10 and 14 players that provides an opportunity for kids to learn and develop their fundamental hockey skills. Register here 

Registration for the program will close on Monday, 30th October.

• Eligable DOBs for the program are 2010 and 2011 (U14s) and2012 and 2013 (U12s)
• Choose the SEHA locations: Daceyville, Kyeemagh and Cintra at Concord.
• The 2024 COD New Balance Regional Challenge will take place in Newcastle from Fri 8 to 10 March 2024. This is the culminating event of COD and is one of the showpiece tournaments on the Hockey NSW calendar.

NSW Pride HookIn2Hockey Clinics

Hockey NSW are excited to offer a special Hookin2Hockey clinic and ticket offer for the upcoming JDH Hockey One League season. For just $25 children aged between 5-12 can participate in a 45-minute hockey clinic at the iconic Sydney Olympic Park Hockey Centre and receive a GA ticket to attend the both women and men NSW Pride matches at the conclusion of the clinic.
