PLAY WATCH AND LOVE THE GAME WITH SEHA

SEHA is one of six Hockey associations in the Greater Sydney area, formed in 2015 under the Hockey NSW restructure of associations in NSW.   Although called Sydney East Hockey Association, SEHA covers an area of about 400 sq Km taking in 12 Local Government Areas, from the City, Glebe and Concord in the city/inner west, out to Bankstown in the south-west, down towards down towards Engadine in the south and back into Daceyville and the Eastern Suburbs.   The association has more than 2,000 players, incorporates 15 affiliated hockey clubs, four synthetic turf fields and a few grass fields.

SEHA conducts local junior and senior competitions and provides representative level hockey for its members, to State Championship level, in field and indoor hockey, for juniors, opens, and masters, boys, girls, men and women.

HIstory

The Sydney East Association formed from a merger of four well established associations within Sydney namely, Sydney Hockey Association, Sydney Juniors Hockey Association, Eastern Districts Women’s Hockey Association and Canterbury Women’s Hockey Association.
