Who We Are
Formed in 2015, Sydney East is one of Sydney’s six metro hockey associations, proudly supporting a diverse and welcoming community across:
- Glebe and the inner west
- Bankstown and the south‑west
- Engadine and the Shire
- Daceyville and the eastern suburbs
With 15 friendly local clubs and four high-quality synthetic turf fields, there’s a team and a venue close by, ready to welcome new members of all ages and skill levels.
What We Offer
Every winter, Sydney East runs fun, well‑organised Junior and Women’s competitions at our grounds in:

🏑 Sutherland
🏑 Bankstown
We also provide exciting opportunities for players to step up to representative hockey, competing at State Championships in both field and indoor hockey. Representative opportunities are available for:
- Boys and girls
- Men and women
- Juniors, Opens, and Masters
